6000 years old portal tomb from Neolithic period. One of the most photographed megalithic monuments in Ireland. Interesting and you should take some time to read the information boards.

If you want to avoid crowds come early. Very early.
Or if it's a clear night, make it a night shoot.
Try to find something interesting in the foreground and stay until the tourists have to go back to their bus... ;-)

You need a car to get here.
The tomb is located on a rocky field in the townland of Poulnabrone, parish of Kilcorney, close to the R480 road, south of Ballyvaughan in County Clare.
