Israel Ramon Crater
Ramon Crater is a geological feature of Israel's Negev desert. Located at the peak of Mount Negev, the landform is not actually an impact crater from a meteor nor a volcanic crater formed by a volcanic eruption, but rather is the world's largest makhtesh(crater). It is 40 km long, 2–10 km wide and 500 meters deep, and is shaped like an elongated heart.
The photos have been taken during sandstorm just moment before the sunset.
There is a curvy and dangerous road in foreground, it goes down along the rock and crosses the crater, leading eventually to Eilat, Israel southern most city.

Photography Tips
Sunrise provides the best light. However, everything is hazy most of the time, it is better and clearer in late autumn/winter.
Strong winds may bother from time to time, lens with IS will help and polarizing filter. Lightroom "Dehaze" option is a savior!
