Italy Calatafimi-Segesta
Originally a Muslim settlement, Calatafimi was renamed Calatafimi-Segesta in 1997 to highlight the presence within its territory of the 5th century B.C. Doric temple of Segesta, widely regarded as one of the most intact of its type.
The town is a good place to refresh either before or after visiting the temple. Wandering its streets will reveal many interesting scenes and the local characters who don't seem to mind having their photos taken.
This intersection and monument is at the centre of town.
