Italy Sant'Angelo in the Morning
Of all the monuments and architecture in the city, the castle and the river walk were without a doubt my favorite. The beautiful reflection of the river in the morning and the bright Italian buildings really make this place stand out and give you a lot to work with in post.
Photography Tips
Although I think all times are good, dawn and sunset are optimal for the reflection. I chose dawn because everybody stays out late and sleeps in for the most part, so I had the bridge all to my self. I would try and go to the top left corner of the bridge (closest to the castle) so that everything is facing directly towards the camera instead of at an angle. In Lightroom I would dehaze the image and use the brush to make the buildings more vibrant, darken the shadows under the bridge, and brighten up the bridge itself. I'm doing this as a hobby so I'm using a Canon T6 with the 18-45 kit lens (which I dropped and broke just after I took this) as well as the classic 24-80 ultrasonic.
Travel Information
I walked, but I did see busses in the area. If you drive, be prepared to walk a bit.
