Italy Cathedral of Syracuse
The original structure dates back to 8 BC but who were they worshiping then? Much of what is most visible now has been added since the 5th century. The facade was built around 1750.

If you go early in the morning, before the ticket office opens, you can wander around with a tripod and disturb no-one. Take a super-wide or ultra-wide lens to try an capture a sense of the place. If you have a macro, use it for detail of the stone works.
