Photography Tips
Be aware the weather can change very quickly in mountains, be prepared! Be careful with a carbon fiber tripod during a thunderstorm at this altitude with no trees. Always with you in the backpack: good boots, water bottle, raincoat, headlamp, knife, dried fruits and nuts etc.
Travel Information
From Morbegno toward Sondrio you must follow the directions to Val Masino.
You can park at San Martino and walk from there for about 4,5 hours first to Val di Mello, then Valle del Ferro till the Bivacco Molteni Valsecchi.
Otherwise you can park the car at Bagni di Masino and go by walk first to Rifugio Giannetti 4 hours and then in 2,5 hour by the Passo del Camerozzo (quite technical if you've never climbed before, but equiped with fixed chains).
If you'd like challenge more yourself, you can even do the Sentiero Roma. It will takes a few days. There are plenty of huts and bivouacs.
