Italy Imperia old town view from port wall
Imperia is a beautiful city in the north of Italy, called the Italian Riviera. It has a really nice old town district, which can be photographed from the ocean by walking down the wall of the port.
Photography Tips
If you walk far out there to this spot, you might think about using a tele lens or at least not using a wide angle lens, since the city would appear very small in your image. The wall is quite long, so there are many options to change the perspective and the distance.
Travel Information
There is a oneway street just nearby with parking options along the road. Just pay attention to the markers though, because the beginning of the street is marked in blue, which means that you will have to pay around 1.20€ per hour. A little bit further down, the parking is free, but as you can guess there are therefore more cars that want to get one of these places.
In general, there are quite a lot of options around though, especially if you are willing to walk a little bit.
One additional advice: There is a really nice small ice cream shop with a playground in front on the way from the parking, which makes one of the best ice creams within the city.
