Italy Cinque Torri (Cinco Torres)

Cinque Torri (sometimes also called Cinque Torri di Averau, in German: Fünf Türme) is a small mountainous complex in the Italian region of Veneto. It has an elevation of 2,361 meters above sea level. It is part of the Nuvolau group, inside the Dolomites of Ampezzo (chain of the Eastern Dolomites), northwest of San Vito di Cadore and southwest of Cortina d'Ampezzo.

The Cinque Torri, like all the mountainous formations of the area, are formed by dolomites, of a particular pale gray color. The complex is made up of five rock spiers (from which its name derives) and a maximum altitude of 2,361 masl (Torre Grande).
Each "tower" has its own name:

- Torre Grande, the largest, has three peaks that are highly appreciated by climbing enthusiasts: Cima Nord, Cima Sud and Cima Ovest;
- Torre Seconda ("Second Tower"), also called Torre del Barancio or Torre Romana;
- Terza Torre, or Torre Latina ("Third Tower" or "Torre Latina");
- Quarta Torre ("Fourth Tower"), formed by two different teeth of rock of different sizes, and for this reason they are called, respectively, Quarta Bassa Tower and Quarta Alta Tower ("Torre Cuarta Baja" and "Torre Alta Alta");
- Quinta Torre, or Torre Inglese ("Quinta Torre" or "Torre Inglesa").
