Mount Pelmo is a mountain in the Dolomites, in the province of Belluno, in northeastern Italy.
It resembles a giant block and is isolated from other peaks, so it can be clearly seen from the neighboring valleys and from nearby mountains such as Antelao and Monte Civetta.
To the west of the summit is a secondary peak, Pelmetto (meaning "Little Pelmo" in Italian), at 2,990 m altitude, which has a north face of 1,100 m in height.
In some rocks on its west side you can see dinosaur tracks.

Photography Tips

Try to shoot at sunrise to capture the light on the rocks and maybe some fog.
70 mm or more is highly recommended.
