Italy Colosseum from Via Vittorino de Feltre, Rome
This is a unique view of the Roman Colosseum. There exist many good areas to photograph the Colosseum, however this one appeared unique while wandering around Rome.
Photography Tips
The Colosseum is always super busy. Very early morning or late evening the crowds will diminish.
This is an HDR photo compiled by the program easyHDR. The details of the nominally exposed photo are below:
Camera: Nikon D7200
Lens: Sigma 18-35 f/1.8
Shutter Speed: 13 seconds
Aperture: f/16
ISO: 100
Focal Length: 22mm on a crop sensor (so about 33mm full frame)
One will obviously require a tripod for longer exposure photos. There are lights in the "window" openings of the Colosseum which create a really cool effect during the night.
