Along the hiking trail to Rifugio Citta di Carpi It takes some effort to get here but man is it worth it.

Photography Tips

I used a wide lens (24mm-120) to get this shot. I also had the camera on a tripod to capture myself walking along.

Travel Information

To get here takes some time. Once you get to Lake Misurina you can park your car at one of many parking lots and then you have two options to get up to this spot. First, you can take a lift up to Rifugio Col De Varda and then hike 40 minutes to this spot, the hike is easy and has amazing views. Secondly, you can just hike from the Lake to Rifugio Citta di Carpi, this will take about 1-2 hours depending on how in shape you are. Personally I recommend taking the lift up, its only 9 EURO to go up and down. The only caveat is that the Lift only operates from 0900 to 1830.
