Italy Porto Venere seen from Palmaria
The Church of St. Peter is a Roman Catholic church in Porto Venere, province of La Spezia, northern Italy, facing the Gulf of Poets. The picture was taken from Palmaria, a small island very near to Porto Venere which is far less crowded than the village.
Photography Tips
Bring a polarizer and maybe a gradient ND filter
Travel Information
You can get to the island of Palmaria by public ferries. There are only two places on the island where can you stay overnight. Not very cheap but definitely worth it because Palmaria is far kess crowded than Porto Venere itself. And you get a much better view. It's also quite nice to have a walk around the island.
