Not sure of the location. Went to exact gps coordinates (spot should be just a few hundred meters before the pass) and neither sacra di san michele nor Monviso peak could be seen

Are you shure to reach the correct place? Have you tried to walk 30/40 mt around? There was leaves on trees blocking the view? The spot is correct, try again...

Hey there. Just wanted to let you know that this is the correct location. The peak is to the southwest quite a ways off. You'll need a long focal length lens and clear weather.
