Italy Lavender Field in Polesine
Lavender field in Polesine, Northeast Italy. This field was formerly used for the cultivation of cereals but it was not very profitable and so, taking advantage of the clayey nature of the soil, the owner made the choice to transform it into a lavender field. This year there has been a spectacular and generous flowering. There is no other lavender cultivation in this region but it seems they have found the right climate given the results. Very close to this scenic lavender field there is another beautiful location: Sacca degli Scardovari (please see).

Any lense from wide angle to telephoto is suitable, depending on the result you are looking for. Great location before and at sunset. Usually first 3 weeks of June are the best moment for taking awesome pictures.
