Very nice view of crater, and the rest of the island, lots of nice spots during the way on the top.

As less gear as possible, as much water as possible. The trip is not easy especially in the summer and sunny days. You will be rewarded by incredible colours around.

Travel Information

Take a boat from Milazzo, get out in the harbour and enjoy 1 hour hiking to the Vulcano crater :)
You will smell the sulfur already when approaching the harbor.
