Italy Biblioteca Casanatense
The Biblioteca Casanatense is a state library in the heart of Rome. It was opened in 1701 and contains a large number of historical writings, especially on the Inquisition. The sculpture depicts the library's founder, Cardinal Girolamo Casanate.
