One of the most beautiful lakes to visit in this region. Especially in autumn well known for its vibrant colors.

Photography Tips

Walk around for different perspectives. I came in the late afternoon for the very last light reaching over the mountain ridge for a hazy atmosphere. Autumn is the best time of the year for colors. A polarization filter might be handy if you don't like reflections.

Travel Information

You drive for a few kilometers in the mountain valley until you reach the parking. Walk by foot to reach the lake and make sure to walk around for many more perspectives. parking was free when I visited in 2020.
