Cascate di Riva is a waterfall in the Dolomites. The water turns turquoise.

The waterfall is easily accessible on foot, and you can take photos in various places.

There is a lot of spray from the falling water.

Photography Tips

The use of a tripod is recommended. f you keep the ISO low, with a higher aperture you can already get movement in the water. A gray filter is not immediately necessary, but if you have one you can play creatively with the water with even longer shutter speeds. Take a lens cleaning/drying cloth as there is spray from the waterfalls. Take your time and be patient.

Travel Information

You can drive to a near by carpark and it's a short 10-20min hike to the first waterfall. There is the possibility to continue up the hill and see another 2 nice waterfalls.
