This ancient Oaktree stands in the middle of a field on a little hill in the middle of nowhere. It's 1/2 hour drive from San Quirico d'Orcia. You'll pass on the left the famous Cypress stand on SR2. I was there end of April, but it seems almost any other time is interesting too.

There are several compositions possible including sunset behind the tree. Almost any lens will work depending on composition.

Travel Information

SR2 North from San Qurico d'Ocia. Then East on SP75. There are other options too.
