Italy Tre Cime di Lavaredo - Dolomiti - Italia

This spot is an important stop for all history enthusiasts and in particular of the First World War, which was very violent in the Dolomites and in the area of the Three Peaks of Lavaredo.

this spot is especially recommended in summer or autumn, with very bright foliage.

Reaching Val Marzon is quite simple: drive past Auronzo and on the way to Lake Misurina, on the right immediately after the bridge over the Marzon river, there is the road to Val Marzon. After leaving the main road there is a picnic area where you can park.
That picnic area stands where during the WW1 there was the Italian command post towards the Austrian front of the Tre Cime Lavaredo.
