Italy Colle Santa Lucia - Dolomites - Veneto
Uno dei migliori spot su Colle Santa Lucia, che a sua volta è uno dei borghi di montagna delle dolomiti più belli.
Photography Tips
Colle Santa Lucia is in the middle of two large Dolomite groups, Pelmo and Civetta, and this means frequent and rapid changes in weather conditions, especially in spring and summer. From a photographic point of view, I do not recommend the use of wide-angle lenses that crush perspectives, but to use at least a 135/200 mm, as well as a tripod and ND filters of your choice.
Travel Information
Colle Santa Lucia is one of the most picturesque mountain villages in the Dolomites. It is an authentic historical gem that is easily reached by following the Valdi Zoldo state road that leads from Longarone (Belluno) first to Selva di Cadore and then Colle Santa Lucia.
It takes about 40 minutes by car from Longarone to Colle Santa Lucia: as you enter the village, there is already a very beautiful viewpoint on the left, but in my opinion the best you can get is by taking via Soppause: at the only hairpin there is a clearing where you can photograph the Pelmo, the Civetta and Colle Santa Lucia.
