A highly interesting place for Urbexers unfortunately rotten to the core.

"Villa Eleonora in Oristano, once one of the most beautiful villas in Sardinia, now stands abandoned and largely forgotten. Built-in the mid-19th century by Vandalino Casu on the remains of an 18th-century structure, it was a grand estate surrounded by orchards and vineyards. The villa, noted for its beauty by contemporary travelers, later became an orphanage in 1939. Despite its current dilapidated state, with remnants of its past glory such as wooden staircases and stained glass windows, Villa Eleonora still holds a certain charm. Efforts are needed to conserve this historical site and preserve its legacy."

Bring a fast wide angle lens, as well as some others, a tripod and torches, as it will be very dark in some parts.

Very easy to access. Just drive to the marked spot, where there's also the "entrance" (hole in a fence).
Be carefull, Billions of huge flies, lots of trash and everything is rotten to the core, but comes with its own special beauty. Be carefull when taking the stairs up, you'll see cracks all over and the building is now at high risk of collapse.
