Italy Scilla Castle
Scilla, in Calabria, near the toe of the Italian peninsula, has a beautiful fishing village wedged between the sea and the mountains which descend steeply to the coast. A rocky promontory topped by a castle divides the town into two with the touristy section on the west and a delightful fishing village on the east. This was taken from the western beach looking towards the Scilla Castle at the top of the cliff with the road tunnel that connects with the fishing village on the eastern side at the bottom of the cliff.
