All of the Amalfi Coast is a treasure of old buildings, steep mountains and ocean. When we are lucky a thunderstorm rolls though.

Photography Tips

This is a sunrise shot and I had the place to myself as all of Italy sleeps in. I needed a split field neutral density filter as I was aiming for the sunrise and had a dark foreground. Do what you can to reduce haze, it is a humid place and the humidity is tough on crispness for photos.

Travel Information

About an hour and a half south of Naples. Driving here is a nightmare, skinny roads and impatient drivers who don't appreciate photographers looking for photo opps as they drive.
