Italy Manarola, Cinque Terre
This view of Manarola is probably one of the most photographed spots in Cinque Terre. It's such a beautiful view with all these colourful buildings. If you haven't been there, this is probably a place you should see and feel once in your lifetime.
Hint: Try to get there in spring or autumn to avoid a bulk of tourists and if you decide to walk along the high coast of Cinque Terre (what you really should do!) the temperatures are maybe not as high as if you would be there in summer.

Photography Tips
A must-have for this spot is a tripod. There is a handrail you could use to stabilize your camera a little bit, but normally all those tourists are shaking it quite a lot. The reason I say that you need a tripod is that the best time to be there is during sunrise/sunset or blue hour (especially from June to September when the sun will illuminate the village) because you get this beautiful contrast between these colorful buildings and the blue of the sky and the ocean. It's also the perfect place for longtime exposures with an ND filter, especially when it's a little bit stormy and the waves smash into the cliffs.
Travel Information
You have to get there by train or on foot if you want to hike from city to city in the Cinque Terre because no cars are allowed. It's usually very crowded even after the day tourists leave. If you want the best spot for this view, you must arrive early and wait.
Hint: Leave your car in Levanto (north of the Cinque Terre - I marked the parking place on the map where I left my car) and get the train to Monterosso (attention: you should look for departures on the web because sometimes they only depart just once every hour). That's the first beautiful town you should see and start your trip. You can walk along the high coast to the other places and it's worth it, but you have to be sporty.
