Jamaica Port Royal, Jamaica
Port Royal is a quiet fishing village at the tip of the tombolo forming Kingston Harbour. From about 1660 to 1692, when an earthquake destroyed the bulk of the city, it was the center of the buccaneers and considered the wickedest city on earth. Not much of the former glory is left today.
Photography Tips
Images of fishing boats and activities around fishing are available.
Travel Information
Port Royal is easy to reach from the Harbour View Roundabout and passing Norman Manley International Airport. I usually park in front of the police post in Queen Street.
