Japan Shibuya Crossing
Photography Tips
It is very difficult to compose a shot at street level at this crossing. It's way too crowded to safely use a tripod, so bring a gorilla pod or platypod etc. to stabilise your camera if shooting at dusk or after sunset.
With an 18mm equivalent wide angle lens you won't get the tops of the buildings on the opposite side into frame so that composition won't work, instead go for something that focuses on the crossing itself and the massive number of people on it. If you can find a way to frame a shot from a higher vantage point - perhaps from a window overlooking the crossing, I'm pretty confident that would work better than street level, but I didn't have time to go looking for such a vantage point unfortunately.
