Japan Shirahige jinja torii
The "in-lake grand torii" of Shirahige site resembles the more famous torii of Itsukushima jinja at Miyajima.
The place is somewhat popular, particularly on weekends. However, as it is not advisable to swim to the torii, the view is not crowded at any time.

From this perspective it is actually possible to see the sun or moon rise behind the torii. Also, don't forget to visit the shrine on the other side of the (busy) lakeside road.
