Himukai daijingu is the "Ise shrine" of Kyoto. It features a Naiku and Geku shrine and a spot for worship in the Ise direction. The chief priest is very friendly. There's also a "cave" in remembrance of Amaterasu's reclusion.
Photography Tips
The shrine is located in a south-facing valley surrounded by large trees, hence light can be problematic.
