Gozanoishi Shrine is located at the north side of Lake Tazawa. It has an iconic shrine facing the lake.

Winter is specially beautiful as the whole region is covered by snow. If you go early you might have the whole scene for yourself.

Travel Information

I don't think there is any public transport (at least not in the early morning). There is a circular train line from Tazawako, otherwise taking a taxi from Matsuba is doable too.
