Higashi-Chayagai, across the Asano River, is the Kanazawa's most famous geisha district. A chaya (teahouse) is an exclusive type of restaurant where guests are entertained by geisha who perform song and dance. I really loved this small alley with a lone man that was walking in the rain.

Photography Tips

The alleys of the district give some beautiful perspectives.
