Japan Futo Beach, sea stacks
Futo beach has several cool things around to shoot, a diving bay, natives harvesting food from the shore, divers and kayakers. The caves of the two sea stacks are tough to spot and the tide needs to be in your favor. It is a beach of boulders that are hard to walk on.
Photography Tips
Walk carefully, use a polarizer
Travel Information
Travel the west coast of the Izu Peninsula until you see the sign. I was on the Izu Peninsula because from the north I had a view of Mt. Fuji which is usually wrapped in clouds. In the beginning of the day I would look toward the mountain to see if my opportunity had arrives, if you couldn't see the mountain I would go south and shoot seascapes.
