The somewhat sleepy fishing village on the eastern edge of the island of Jersey is one of the most important harbor locations and invites you to take a short walk up to Orgueil Castle. From the top, there is a great view across the sea along the island's coastline. Kestrels can also be observed from here.

Photography Tips

Especially when the first light hits the castle, this place seems to be hard to beat in terms of romance. When using the drone, you should pay attention to the winds and have a valid flying license with you. Use the 9-image panorama mode for as much expanse as possible in the image.

You will find a parking lot in Gorey itself. From there, it is only a few meters to the entrance area of the castle. Pay attention to the seasonal opening times and check the internet.
