Jersey La Corbiere Lighthouse, Jersey
One of the most famous places on the island is this beautiful lighthouse. At low tide, it can be reached and visited via an exposed path. When the tide comes in, the lighthouse is completely surrounded by water. Overall, the place provides a picturesque backdrop and should definitely not be missed.
Photography Tips
Don't photograph the lighthouse from the classic perspective like everyone else, but move along the cliffs and look for new motifs like here, when the sun set right behind the lighthouse. You will need a long focal length for this. Depending on the time of year, you also need to be aware that the sun is in a different position in relation to the lighthouse and that the location marked here may not be exactly the one you need for your shot. Be flexible!
Travel Information
Watch out for cliffs! It can get slippery here. So make sure you have sturdy shoes with you and be aware of your path. If you feel unsafe along the cliffs, do not take any risks. Otherwise, you have all the parking options along the lighthouse and move around a radius of about 500 meters.
