The Kolsai Lake Area is a beautiful mountain getaway close to the city of Almaty.

Start the drone from the upper parking lot to stay within the countries height restrictions.

Travel Information

You need to pay entrance at a military checkpoint which also includes the parking. Take cash with you, since card often doesn't work. Besides that, it is easy to access the lakes with a normal car.
