You will find some military structures in Karosta, taken by the Baltic Sea. Since you won't find any sea stacks in the Baltic States, it's the next best thing, that you can get in the sea. The place has a strong sense of history and a feeling of abandonment. If you play your cards right, you could get strong and moody pictures from there!

Photography Tips

Take a wide lens with you. The tripod is also important. And don't forget to pick some ND and GND filters with you! Usually, over the sea the light pollution is minimal, therefore this place could be the perfect spot for night photography.

Travel Information

You can use a car. Near the forts, you will find a lot of parking options. And if you are staying in Liepaja, you can ride a bike or take a hike from the city.
