The Crane Houses, or "Kranhäuser" in German, are a set of three distinctive residential buildings located on the banks of the Rhine River in Cologne, Germany. Designed by the architect Alfons Linster, these modern structures were completed in 2008 and have become iconic landmarks of the city's skyline. The buildings are named after cranes that were historically used in the nearby harbor.
