Luxembourg Beaufort Castle, Luxembourg
There are two castles in Beaufort that you can visit in the middle of nature. The impressive medieval castle rises above the scenery near the idyllic castle pond. It was built between 1050 and 1650. After major repairs, the imposing ruins were opened in 1932 and are now considered a historical monument. Walking around the corner, you will discover the Renaissance castle from the 17th century. Its remarkable interior is a testament to the magic of the past. The castle can only be visited with a guided tour. In the end, the characteristic Cassero liqueur awaits you for a tasting.
Photography Tips
The drones give a great overview of the castle, which is an absolute gem in autumn when the leaves change colors. The best would be some fog after a rainy day!
