Luxembourg Useldingen castle, Luxembourg
Useldange Castle is the ruin of a medieval hilltop castle on a hill above the Attert in the town center of the Luxembourg municipality of Useldange. Its construction is connected to the Lordship of Useldange, which arose around 1100 through inheritance. After the Lords of Useldange died, Jean de Rodemacher became the castle owner in 1415 through his marriage to Irmgard de Boulay.
Photography Tips
A drone is an excellent tool for an overview of the castle, the surrounding village, and nature. Autumn is the best season to visit. Morning fog would be perfect!
Travel Information
I parked my car at a tiny parking lot in front of the castle. There is space for about five cars, and you can park here for free for about 2 hours. Alternatively, you can find some parking spaces along the small streets in the village.
