Luxembourg Saint-Jean-du-Grund church view, Luxembourg
Saint-Jean-du-Grund is a church that dates back to the beginning of the 18th century and once belonged to the Benedictine Abbey of Münster. The interior contains a baroque choir, a beautiful 18th-century organ, and, in one of the chapels, a black Madonna and Child, carved around 1360, which is the object of great veneration.
Photography Tips
I tried to get a lower angle near the river to reflect the church and the surrounding historic buildings. Autumn is the best time to visit due to the beautiful colors you can capture of nature!
Travel Information
Public transport in Luxembourg is free of charge! But if you visit by car, I can recommend the marked parking lot, free of charge in the late evening and early morning but also relatively cheap during the day!
