Macedonia Kokino megalithic observatory

Ancient observatory with beautiful mountain view and interesting story.
Although very few people go there and the area is not fenced, there is a person sitting in the shade at the parking lot during the day and selling tickets. Down in the car park it still looks like a rip off, but there are very informative and surprisingly good quality signs along the path up to the observatory.

You can drive there. There is a marked parking lot from which you have to climb up the mountain on a rather steep path.
