Madagascar Mantadia National Park
The Mantadia National Park is a primary forest - one of the few left in the country (80% of forests are gone). Here you can hike looking for lemurs - a focus on the largest lemur, the Indri.
Photography Tips
Very thick forest and moving through the forest/jungle trying to catch a lemur is difficult. Very dark in the forest so fast lens are best.
Travel Information
You must have a guide to enter the park - a very long 4x4 drive to get to trails. The town of Pernet is a meeting place for guides.
