Malaysia Regalia Residences
This shot was taken from a condominium unit on Level 32, Unit C-32-6. It has a long balcony, enough for 6-8 photographers to place their tripods. Rental of the units is about USD120, booked through AirBNB.
Photography Tips
if you're shooting alone, you can use a clamp tripod to clamp on to the glass railing. If there's others, than no good as it is prone to shakes. You can also capture the light rail from the roads as well as the LRT lines. A good focal length is from 12mm right up to 18mm (full frame) to capture the skyline and you can also use your tele lens for close-ups of the Petronas Twin Towers. Unfortunately, the KL Tower is partly hidden. On the far background you can see the tallest building in Kuala Lumpur, the Exchange 106 building.
