Malta Basilica of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Valletta

Hey Reemt, thanks a lot for this excellent photo. I would have loved to get the same photo. So I went to your google maps marker and found the spot in August 2018 right away. @Shelley: I do confirm that the marker is right. But unfortunately two big house blocks on the left of your photo were wrapped by an ugly construction canvas. That destroyed the beauty of the photo very much. But there is the saying "If you like a place very much, keep always something left what you really love, so you have a good reason to come back." ;-) So I think I have to come back next year to get the photo by myself with some beautiful refurbished house fronts on the left.

I opened google maps and put the little man in the place you show above and did a street view - I couldn't see the basilica. Could the marker be in the wrong place do you think? cheers Shelley
