Anse Dufour in southwestern Martinique is one of the best snorkeling spots on the island. The water is mostly calm and the bay offers a great variety of fish, invertebrates and even the chance to see sea turtles.

Photography Tips

Besides general advices for underwater photography no special gear etc is needed. Beware of lion fish - this introduced species occurs in high numbers!
