Mauritius 'The blue water hole', North-East Mauritius

The surreally beautiful lagoons in Mauritius with their unreal gradations of color are a must-see. In addition to the classic “Underwater Waterfall” in the south of the country, there are also far fewer tourist spots in the north-east where you can marvel these lagoons from the air.

Find the line of the color boundaries and photograph top down. This will give you a great minimalist image.

When using drones, please make sure that you fly outside the flight times of the seaplanes operated by Sealoyflights. You can find the flight times on the homepage or give them a call.

The flight is also quite long at just over 2 kilometers. So please check the batteries of your drone and remote beforehand.

During our trip I just checked the possible nearest point to the lagoons on google and mark you the parking slot. From there you have an open view over the ocean.
