The mountains around Khovd are stunning and rising in the vast steppe. It's good to see mountains after driving in the flatlands for quite a while. Those rocks are all individual and add perfectly up to the landscape.
Photography Tips
Take out the 9-photo panorama function of your drone to get more of the landscape into the image. Always check for local regulations of the drone.
Travel Information
Driving is easy here since the road is paved. However, take care about potholes in the ground. They can be found here and then along the road. Take a detour from the normal road to hit the nearby cliffs / mountains. You don't need a 4x4 for this. A normal car is sufficient.
