Mongolia Kharkhiraa Mountain Lakes

The Kharkhiraa mountain range is a very remote place "close" to Ölgii. It has stunning sharp mountains and glaciers with blue lakes underneath.

This lake is massive. Take a person into the frame as scale and keep distance to get a compression.

This area is very hard to reach. You need to off-road for quite some time (in dependency how far your car or your driver is willing to go). Then, you need to hike without any hiking path to those lakes. Therefore, it is hard to say, how many kilometers that journey will be for you. Furthermore, you need to cross several rivers, so take into account, that you will need to take off your shoes and get wet.
