Hiking all along the Durmitor ist just a special thing to do. These towering peaks all around are simply stunning and mostly untouched. Make sure to go also on passes and settles. You will be rewarded with stunning views.

Just play around. There are basically no tips. Take longer lenses to get details of the mountains as well as wide angles to show the vast wideness of the landscape.

Make sure to pay the entry fees of around 3 EUR (take cash because they don't accept cards). Take offline hiking maps with you so you don't get lost. Trails are pretty straight forward. Also: Consider fast changing weather and early snow levels here.

At last: To get up the settle, you need to pass an easy via Ferrata. No need of a climbing set but be prepared for a steeper section with a steel rope.
