Morocco Kasbah Telouet
Kasbah Telouet is the ruined former home of a famous Berber chieftain, Thami El Glaoui. Some of the interiors are being restored to their original glory, but the outside is in glorious decay.
Photography Tips
There are LOTS of interesting images to be made here, views of Telouet village and the mountains from the walls, lots of intimate shots of bits of architecture and beautiful interior details of mosiaic tiles and ironwork.
Travel Information
Most tourists rush past on the main N9 road to Ouarzazate and to see the more famous Ait Ben Haddou. Don't! Instead go on the P1506 road through the Ounila Valley, which goes via Telouet. It's one of the top 3 road trips I have done anywhere in the world.
